I Can Only Imagine will be in cinemas from March 15!
This is the highly anticipated film that tells the story behind the Mercy Me’s hit song. Released in 1999 and believed to be the most-played contemporary Christian song of all time, I Can Only Imagine has connected with hearts across the world, often in the midst of life’s most challenging moments. Amazingly, the song was written in mere minutes by the band’s singer Bart Millard.
However, as is often the case, those lyrics actually took a lifetime to craft.
Directed by the Erwin Brothers (October Baby, Moms’ Night Out, and Woodlawn), I Can Only Imagine stars J. Michael Finley, Madeline Carroll, Trace Adkins, Priscilla Shirer, with Cloris Leachman and Dennis Quaid.
A gripping reminder of the power of forgiveness, I Can Only Imagine beautifully illustrates that no one is ever too far from God’s love—or from an eternal home in Heaven.
